The ENERGISE findings on co-operation in energy and telecommunication systems in critical operation statuses, were presented at the “International Workshop on Optimization Challenges in the Evolution of Energy Networks to Smart Grids”. ENERGISE took over the lead of section C1 on “Network integration and ICT”. The workshop was hosted by the Institute for Systems Engineering and Computers (INESC) at the Portuguese University of Coimbra (Portugal) from the 26th till 27th of October.
It is a great honor for ENERGISE to be selected out of a large number of applicants to present its findings. It confirms the high relevance of one of the project’s focus subjects. This workshop provided the opportunity to exchange learnings from the project on the handling of critical situations with participants from the industry as well as research and development. The aim was to share knowledge and experience in order to enable the evolution of intelligent energy networks. In personal discussions at the event, the project team could network, gain deeper insights and disseminate the project ENERGISE.
